As Chief of Internal Medicine at MicroSpine, Dr. Chris Kunis is vital to the proper management of our patients health issues during their spinal treatments. To avoid delays and complications, the Medical Services Department oversees all patient health issues from medications to diagnostic tests.
Originally from Glen Ridge, New Jersey, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford. His MD degree was received at Ross University of Medicine, NY, at the Portsmouth, Dominica, British West Indies campus. He served his Internal Medicine residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey.
A specialist in both Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine, Dr. Kunis has perfected his skills in both private practice and in the corporate sector. Prior to joining the MicroSpine complex, Dr. Kunis was a key physician in Internal Medicine and Laser Skin Care and had a private Internal Medicine practice in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. He also served as company physician at Grove America for 13 years. In this position, he was Director of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
