Dr. Timothy Kleppers training and expertise in advanced laparoscopic procedures bring a new facet of orthopedic services to the MicroSpine complex.

Dr. Klepper graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he obtained his BS in Physiological Psychology. His MD degree is from the respected University of Pittsburgh. Residencies were served at St. Agnes Health Care in Baltimore, the Pediatric Trauma Center at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Regional Trauma Center.

He performs all general surgery procedures laparoscopically and prefers the Harmonic Scalpel in his work. His expertise with this leading ultrasonic instrument is comprehensive and nationally known. The precise instrument offers superior results and minimal lateral thermal tissue damage. Further, the reduced need for stitches allows for greater precision near vital structures.

Dr. Kleppers areas of specialty is orthopedics and procedures such as PPH Staple Hemorrhoid Pexy, an outpatient procedure that results in less incontinence, less pain and fewer complications. He also specializes in Re-Current and Ventral Hernia Surgery, HAL Colon Re-Section Surgery and Thyroid Surgery.
