With our years of research and experience we have successfully become contracted with several insurance carriers for many of the services rendered at the Microspine. Being "In Network" allows us to pass on the savings for even those who have insurance plans that we are not yet providers for. Thus, effective May 1, 2008 we are able to offer a significantly reduced global fee (pre-payment discount) to our clients for insurance providers that we are not yet contracted with.

WELCOME TO THE FUTURE - MICROSPINE

MicroSpine represents the future of endoscopic laser spine surgery. We specialize in treating patients with prior failed spinal surgeries and fusions. MicroSpine manufactures special instruments and develops new techniques  to perform the most complex microscopic laser spinal surgeries through portals of 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch. The science of spine surgery is ever changing and MicroSpine is the one changing it. Our surgeons have performed over 7000 minimally invasive spinal surgeries and most of our patients are referred by other prior satisfied patients and not promotional seminars or expensive advertising. Our staff has personally pioneered the development of endoscopic sacroiliac joint surgery, endoscopic facet surgery for spinal arthritis, endoscopic laminoforaminoplasty and thoracic percutaneous laser discectomy. We regularly publish our findings in peer reviewed journals and are world recognized for our advancements in endoscopic laser surgery.

Unlike others, we don't claim to perform minimally invasive spinal surgery and then offer you a major fusion or an incision of greater than one inch. All of our spine surgeries are minimally invasive and no one has more advanced spinal surgical techniques than us. Our minimally invasive spine surgery techniques are so advanced that patients who have failed "minimally invasive spine surgery" or conventional spine surgery from other professionals may benefit from our procedures. We are spine surgery specialists and nothing else. Unlike other spine surgery centers who claim to perform minimally invasive spine surgery but also operate on shoulders and knees, we only work on the spine and we are the only center strictly dedicated to every aspect of minimally invasive spine surgery in the World. We are not trying to sound overly zealous, but many doctors claim to perform similar spine surgeries or they believe they know what we perform, but they do not, and thus we are simply stressing that what we offer is unique in the spine surgery realm.

Why Is MicroSpine Unique?

    bullet

No Incision of Larger than One Inch1. (Some people utilize tubular retractor systems that are up to 26mm or 1 inch in diameter which causes an incision of up to three inches which is no different than an open surgery)

    bullet

No Cell Saver2 (Cell saver is an auto-transfusion which is used by most other minimally invasive spine surgeons but is not required since blood loss is minimal via Microspine surgery techniques.

    bullet

All of our physicians are Board Certified M.D.'s  (Click Here to Learn About Board Certification)

    bullet

No Hospital Stay is required3. (But all of our M.D.'s have hospital privileges)

    bullet

No Expensive Physical Therapy is needed4.

    bullet

No General Anesthesia is Required (Sedation only which is much safer)5

    bullet

No Guessing on Your Diagnosis. (Our unique pain mapping techniques confirm your diagnosis before surgery and thus improves your success and helps to eliminate unnecessary procedures)

    bullet

MicroSpine's World Renown Reputation which includes the world's first and only study on Human Intradiscal Stem Cell Therapy and The first and only published minimally invasive "cure" for Sacroiliac Joint Pain.6

We specialize in "Incurable" back pain, leg pain, cervical pain, failed back syndrome, failed spine surgery syndrome, headache, spinal stenosis, thoracic pain, radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, and disc herniation. We can often resolve pain due to prior spine surgeries and spine fusions! You don't need a 6 to 12 inch incision, and you probably don't need a fusion or metallic disc to cure your pain. With conventional spine surgery, recovery time is months, but with our endoscopic spine surgery procedures, you can walk the same day as your spine surgery! Our physicians have performed thousands of minimally invasive spinal surgeries. All of our Doctors are Board Certified Medical Doctors (M.D.) and have outstanding credentials which we proudly display on this site. In fact, we challenge you to compare our credentials to other spine surgeons on the state medical board sites.

We Don't Just Manage Pain, We Treat it! tm

If You Have Acute or Chronic Back, Neck, Arm or Leg Pain We Probably Can Help You! Even If You Have Had A Prior Spinal Fusion!

Our World Renowned Surgeons Can Help You With Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery Techniques That Only A Handful Of Other Physicians In The World Can Perform.

All Our Spine Surgeries Are Performed On An Outpatient Basis!

Smokers can continue to smoke and still have Spine Surgery!

We have permanent solutions for spinal arthritis!

With Conventional Spine Surgery, Recovery Time Is Months, But With Our Endoscopic Spine Surgery Procedures, You Will Walk The Same Day As Your Spine Surgery!

Don't Be Fooled With Physicians Who Claim They Perform Similar Endoscopic Spinal Surgeries. Our Techniques Are Far Advanced From Percutaneous Lumbar Discectomies or IDET. We Can Actually Remove Scar Tissue, Bone, Disc and Ligaments That Impinge On Nerves Through a Hole The Size of Your Finger (1/4 to 1/2 of an inch)! Ask Your Physician If He Can Do That!

MicroSpine is capable of performing almost any spine surgery procedure via an endoscopic approach, we can endoscopically perform:

cervical endoscopic discectomy, thoracic discectomy, lumbar endoscopic discectomy, laminoforaminoplasty, corpectomy, hemilaminectomy, endoscopic thoracic spine surgery, facetectomy, Sacroiliac joint surgery, lumbar facet joint surgery, cervical facet joint surgery, thoracic facet surgery, vertebroplasty, cervical laminoforaminoplasty, spinal ligament surgery, endoscopic hardware removal, endoscopic fusion spine surgery, scoliosis surgery, spondylolisthesis spine surgery and sacral decompression surgery. Every one of our surgeries is performed endoscopically through incisions less than an inch1. Our surgeons have personally performed over 7,000 endoscopic laser spine procedures.

MicroSpine is capable of treating almost any spine disorder. From Spinal stenosis, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, to herniated discs and discogenic pain with success rates that are similar or better than conventional surgery. Our endoscopic spine techniques are unique and even allow us to remove hardware endoscopically. Lasers are utilized to remove tissues, as well as specially designed cutting tools to remove bone. We can remove scar tissue, bone and disc as easy as it is done with conventional surgery. Whether it is called Microspinology, Microspinoscopy, minimally invasive spine surgery, arthroscopic spine surgery, laser spine surgery or endoscopic spine surgery, we are the leaders in this field. We have permanent solutions for neck arthritis or back arthritis. Spinal stenosis is easily resolved. Don't be fooled by those who "dabble" in performing endoscopic disc surgery. All we do is endoscopic spinal surgery and nothing else. 70% resolution of disc pain without a fusion or a metal artificial disc. 80% resolution of neck problems. 70 to 80% resolution of back and leg problems. And, we have a full time research staff to prove it and publications have been done or are forthcoming. So when we say we are the leader in minimally invasive spinal surgery, we are capable of backing it up. People travel from around the world to our spine center for treatment and besides this website, we generally don't advertise. Our patients mostly come from word of mouth, which is the best way to get new patients, by having happy, satisfied old patients. Our surgeons are upfront and honest, they will tell you what minimally invasive spine surgery can really offer you. We are not miracle workers and we can't help everyone and we won't tell you we can help you when we cannot. We are booked well in advance and we are not going to rush you into surgery like many other doctors. We believe a happy patient is the best advertising and we will stick with you from start to finish. Join those who now are part of MicroSpine, The Spinal Surgery Revolution!

Disclaimer: MicroSpine's surgeries are an alternative to conventional surgery and thus both conventional surgery or our endoscopic surgeries may benefit your condition. No spine surgery is 100% effective in every patient and there is never a guarantee with any surgery. Nonetheless, we offer a minimally invasive alternative to conventional surgery that may resolve your condition..

Footnotes (we want to be clear about the above statements)

1. Our surgeries are truly minimally invasive which is defined as an incision of less than one inch. (If the incision is greater than one inch then it is a convention surgery and more invasive.) Occasionally, for endoscopic hardware removal, an incision of slightly greater than one inch is required for removal of the screws or rods of the hardware.

2. Cell Saver is a machine that attempts to recycle your blood after it is lost during surgery. These devices are only utilized for cases with excessive bleeding and thus we never utilize them but many other minimally invasive spine surgeons do. The question is why do they need these devices if the surgery is truly minimally invasive?

3. Rarely a patient does require a hospital admission but occasionally it occurs. If an admission does occur, you can be sure that our staff and not some unknown doctor will be in charge of your care.

4. Our surgeries don't require P.T. in most cases but we allow it if you desire P.T. and thus it can be worked into your treatment when you return home.

5. Our surgeries offer a heavy sedation that allows comfort but safety during the surgery with our patent pending sedation mixture.

6. MicroSpine Has treated patients from around the globe and nearly every continent except Antarctica.
